Devin was kidding me about how goofy it looked and he didn't wanna walk beside me if I wore it....Well after the run we had at the State race he says I have to ware it all the time...LOL

Below are the qualifying results for the 4th stocklite Ga State race.....

WARNING to all Georgia drivers....

There is a 16 year old on the loose....Devin passed his drivers test today....He can be seen driving a 2001 black Mazda truck.....I just hope he doesn't get a black flag...LOL I guess my fingers will now be permanently crossed....It has never bothered me seeing him on the track running 60 MPH, but on the road is awhole nother matter.

4th GA State Stocklite feature race.....

We set outside pole in Stocklite....Tippens set pole.....Devin fell in right behind Tippens on the first start...It was waved off.....He took the lead on the second start....He didn't stay upfront for long....Tippens went by him on the 2nd lap and Walden and Ridley got by to.....Then Walden and Ridley got in the loose stuff on the back stretch and Devin got back by both of them...By this time Tippens had checked out and Devin did a good job of holding onto to 2nd.....Until they were coming to the white flag and Devin made one small mistake and both Ridley and Walden got back by him.....Devin ended up finishing 4th.....All in all a good run for us.

Man what a race....

We opened up a few dates on our racing calendar tonight....

We had another night at NGMS that left me scratching my head.....I thru everything I had at the track and still couldn't get the damn tires to bite after it dried out.....? We even ran med to just to see if we could get anything to work.....Nope....We had another Falcon driver offer sticker tires to run in the Med feature to see if they would work....They wouldn't stick.....Tried very sticky Vega's....They wouldn't stick.....So after running 3rd in the heat with a set of T3's in Lite we went back to those same tires for the Lite feature and went straight to the back....Beats the hell out of me....? We won't race the rest of the points....Just try to figure it out on non-points night....Maybe hit a day race where the track will have some bite.

Getting ready for the 3rd points race at NGMS....

Started working on tires tonight....If we are not quick this weekend I'm about ready to give up and just go with Track-Tac....We can't seem to get anything to work this year at night on our home track...We need to go somewhere else and race just to get headed back in the right direction and get on a different racing surface....I know our prep program will work, just not at North Ga...? I still have lots of ideas just not enough time to try them. Maybe we should just to stick to day racing....?

Got to take the bad with the good....

Had a bad night at the track....Up side is I had Jeff Gordon in the office race pool....Good thing I'll need that $150 to fix what we broke at the track.

1st round of practice went well....Turned a 13.13...We didn't get any faster the rest of the night and I'm not sure the track did either.

2nd round we changed tires and slowed down to 13.30....Decided to keep those tires on anyway for the heat and the kart looked like it was gonna to be fast...Devin started 3rd in the heat and was right on the pole sitters bumper going down the back straight...He got his nose under her but backed off because he would have prolly taken her out if he would have held his line...Well none of the karts behind slowed down and proceded to plow there way thru....Devin ended up hitting a kart that was slideways on the front straight and the impact cause the chain to come off.

We got a controlled practice and went out for lite....2 laps and the LR wheel came off....Hub will need new studs and the wheel is shot...Rushed back to the pits and fixed it...We went back out with med and turned a 13.15...We thought we might have something for them....Only needed maybe another 10th to be as quick as anyone in lite....Made some last minute changes to the cross and one of the two spacers on the backside of the hub fell off...I didn't chatch it and that caused the wheel to rub against the spindle....Not only did that act as a break on the RF it also got the wheel so hot that it blew the tire out....End of the night for us.

We are ready for Peachstate....

Just got to pack the trailer...I expect to have a good run at the 3rd Ga State race....The set-up numbers are dead on...Motor is still very strong on the dyno....Thanx Jimmy, I hope to see U at the track.

But it ain't bad....Jennifer is a much bigger part of our karting than she thinks she is.....This pic was taken by her at Daytona this year.

Devin's new jacket is finished...

I like the leather letters much better than the embrodered ones on his last jacket....It cost $35 for the sewing including the two patches.....I just cut the letters out myself.

Well...Everything is ready for this weekend.

Now I just need to work on the blog...

First points race of the season at NGMS and it's a rain out. We still drove all the way to the track...Knowing it was gonna rain it out. It was rescheduled for next weekend.
